Irrigation

After seeding in every 4 – 5 days until seedlings are established. Irrigate weekly interval during the dry period.

Weed management

Weed free environment is needed for 45 days to develop vigorous plant. Seedlings in rows facilitate weed control. 

Harvesting

Harvest is done when 80% of the panicles become brown color.

• Rain fed – 1150 kg/ha
